Ilaprazole

Ilaprazole is the generic name for a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) medication.It is available in various formulations, including tablets, capsules, and oral suspensions.

Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), including erosive esophagitis.

Treatment of ZollingerEllison syndrome.

Shortterm treatment of duodenal ulcers.

Treatment of heartburn and other symptoms of acid reflux.

Peptorila 10mg Tablet (Ilaprazole) works by blocking the production of stomach acid. It specifically targets the proton pump, an enzyme responsible for the final step in acid secretion.

Store Ilaprazole at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

The dosage of Ilaprazole varies depending on the condition being treated and the individual patient's needs.

It is typically taken once daily, usually in the morning, before a meal.

It is important to follow your doctor's instructions carefully and not adjust your dosage without consulting them.

Do not crush or chew Ilaprazole tablets or capsules. Swallow them whole with a glass of water.

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol consumption may worsen the side effects of Ilaprazole, including stomach irritation.



While Driving or Operating Machinery

Ilaprazole may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery if you experience these effects.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Ilaprazole should only be used during pregnancy if the potential benefits outweigh the risks to the fetus. It is not known if Ilaprazole passes into breast milk. Consult with your doctor before taking Ilaprazole if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.



Children

Ilaprazole is not generally recommended for children, as its safety and effectiveness have not been established in this population.



Kidney

Ilaprazole is primarily eliminated from the body through the kidneys. Patients with kidney disease may need dosage adjustments.



Liver

Ilaprazole is metabolized by the liver. Patients with liver disease may need dosage adjustments.
