Oxapro 600 Tab (Oxaprozin) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits the production of prostaglandins, substances that contribute to pain, inflammation, and fever. It works by blocking the cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, COX-1 and COX-2, although its selectivity for COX-2 is debated.

Store at room temperature (20-25°C) in a tightly closed container, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage should always be prescribed by a doctor and individualized to the patient’s needs and response.

Typical doses may range from 600mg to 1200mg daily, administered in divided doses.

Never exceed the prescribed dosage.

Increased risk of bleeding (especially with other drugs that thin blood)

While Driving or operating Machinery

Oxaprozin may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Oxaprozin is generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding due to potential risks to the fetus or infant. Consult your doctor immediately.



Children

The safety and efficacy of oxaprozin in children have not been fully established.



Kidney

Oxaprozin should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Renal function should be monitored.



Liver

Oxaprozin should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Liver function should be monitored.
