Nortrip 75mg Tab (Nortriptyline) is a tricyclic antidepressant (TCA). It works primarily by blocking the reuptake of norepinephrine and serotonin in the brain. This increases the levels of these neurotransmitters, which are involved in mood regulation and pain perception, leading to improved mood and reduced pain sensations.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Discard any unused medication after the expiration date.

Dosage is determined by your doctor and will vary depending on your individual needs and response to treatment.

It's typically started at a low dose and gradually increased as needed.

It's usually taken once daily at bedtime to minimize daytime drowsiness.

While Driving or operating Machinery

Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how nortriptyline affects you. Drowsiness is a common side effect.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding should only be considered if the potential benefits outweigh the risks. Consult your doctor immediately.



Children

Use in children is typically only considered for enuresis, and only after other treatments have failed. Careful monitoring is essential.



Kidney

Dosage adjustment may be necessary for patients with impaired kidney function.
