Cefadroxil

Is a cephalosporin antibiotic.

Treatment of infections caused by susceptible bacteria, including but not limited to:

Skin and skin structure infections

Ear infections (otitis media)

Upper respiratory tract infections

Urinary tract infections

Nesdrox 125mg Syp 30ml (Cefadroxil) works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, ultimately leading to bacterial cell death. It is bactericidal against susceptible organisms.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiration date.

Dosage and frequency vary depending on the infection being treated and the patient's age and kidney function. Always follow your doctor's prescription.

Cefadroxil is usually taken orally with or without food.

Complete the entire course of medication even if symptoms improve to prevent recurrence of infection.

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Consult your doctor before taking Cefadroxil if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Cefadroxil can pass into breast milk.



Children

Kidney
