Tolnaftate

Is the active ingredient in this medication.

Treatment of tinea pedis (athlete's foot), tinea cruris (jock itch), and tinea corporis (ringworm) caused by dermatophytes.

Naftate Cream 20gm (Tolnaftate) is an antifungal medication that works by inhibiting the growth of fungi. It disrupts the synthesis of ergosterol, a vital component of fungal cell membranes, leading to cell death.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

Apply a thin layer of tolnaftate to the affected area twice daily (morning and evening).

Continue treatment for at least 2 weeks or until the infection has cleared, even if symptoms improve.

Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the medication.

Skin irritation, redness, burning, or itching.

Rarely, allergic reactions may occur.

Alcohol Consumption

No known interactions with alcohol.



While Driving or operating Machinery

Tolnaftate does not affect mental alertness or reaction time.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Children

Kidney

Tolnaftate is not known to affect kidney function.



Liver

Tolnaftate is not known to affect liver function.
