Diclofenac

A nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (nsaid) that reduces pain and inflammation.

Misoprostol

A prostaglandin e1 analogue that protects the stomach lining from the damaging effects of nsaids.

Relief of pain associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.

Treatment of primary dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation).

Diclofenac inhibits the production of prostaglandins, which are involved in pain and inflammation. Misoprostol counteracts the gastrointestinal side effects of diclofenac by stimulating mucus and bicarbonate secretion in the stomach, protecting the stomach lining from damage.

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

May cause drowsiness or dizziness; avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Generally not recommended during pregnancy, especially in the third trimester. Consult your doctor before use if breastfeeding.



Children

Not recommended for children unless specifically prescribed by a pediatrician.



Kidney

Use with caution in patients with kidney disease. Regular monitoring of kidney function may be necessary.



Liver

Use with caution in patients with liver disease. Regular monitoring of liver function may be necessary.
