Lafutidine is the active ingredient in this medication.It belongs to a class of drugs called H2 receptor antagonists.

Lafjoy 10mg Tab (Lafutidine) works by blocking the action of histamine, a chemical that stimulates the production of stomach acid. By blocking histamine, lafutidine reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach.
Store at room temperature between 15°C and 30°C (59°F and 86°F). Keep out of reach of children.
The dosage of lafutidine will vary depending on the condition being treated and the individual patient.
It is usually taken once or twice a day, either with or without food.
Follow your doctor's instructions carefully.
Do not take more or less than the prescribed dosage or for a longer period than recommended.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule.

Drinking alcohol while taking lafutidine may increase the risk of side effects.
Lafutidine may cause dizziness or drowsiness. If you experience these symptoms, avoid driving or operating machinery.
It is not known if lafutidine is safe to use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. It is best to consult with your doctor before taking this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Lafutidine is not recommended for children under 18 years of age.
If you have kidney problems, you may need a lower dose of lafutidine.
If you have liver problems, you may need a lower dose of lafutidine.
