Levonorgestrel: A progestin (synthetic form of progesterone), a female sex hormone that plays a crucial role in the menstrual cycle.

Ethinyl Estradiol: An estrogen (synthetic form of estradiol), another female sex hormone that works alongside progesterone in regulating the menstrual cycle.

Ferrous Fumarate: An iron supplement, crucial for red blood cell production and preventing anemia, often included to counteract potential iron deficiency caused by hormonal birth control.

Hormonal contraception (prevention of pregnancy)

Regulation of menstrual cycles (reducing menstrual flow and cramping in some cases)

Treatment of acne in some women (when hormonal imbalances are a contributing factor)

This combination pill works primarily by suppressing ovulation (the release of an egg from the ovary). Ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel work synergistically to thicken the cervical mucus (making it harder for sperm to reach the egg) and alter the uterine lining (making implantation less likely). The addition of ferrous fumarate addresses potential iron deficiency which can be a side effect of some hormonal birth controls.

Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any pills that are expired or show signs of damage.

Take one tablet orally once daily, at approximately the same time each day, following the directions on your prescription label.

If you miss a pill, refer to the patient information leaflet provided with your medication or contact your doctor or pharmacist immediately.

Alcohol Consumption

May cause drowsiness or dizziness in some individuals, particularly when starting the medication. Avoid driving or operating machinery if experiencing these side effects.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medication is not intended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Consult your doctor for alternative birth control options if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
