Gliclazide

Typically taken once or twice daily with meals.

Common side effects include: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, weight gain, headache, dizziness, joint pain, muscle aches, and skin rash.

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol can lower your blood sugar levels and increase the risk of hypoglycemia. Avoid excessive alcohol intake while taking this medication.



While Driving or operating Machinery

This medication may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Kidney

This medication is not recommended for people with severe kidney disease.
