Dapagliflozin

A sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (sglt2) inhibitor that helps the kidneys remove excess sugar from the blood through urine.

Glimepiride

A sulfonylurea drug that stimulates the pancreas to release more insulin.

Metformin

A biguanide that improves insulin sensitivity and reduces glucose production by the liver.

Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults when diet and exercise alone are not enough to control blood sugar levels.

Used when other diabetes medications have not been effective enough or are not tolerated.

This combination medication works through three different pathways to lower blood sugar. Dapagliflozin increases glucose excretion in the urine. Glimepiride stimulates insulin release from the pancreas. Metformin enhances insulin sensitivity and reduces hepatic glucose production.

Store at room temperature (below 30°C), protect from moisture, and keep out of reach of children. Discard any medication that has expired.

Alcohol Consumption

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is generally not recommended. Consult your doctor about the risks and benefits.



Children

Not indicated for use in children.



Kidney

Renal function should be assessed before and during treatment as dosage adjustments may be necessary. This medication is contraindicated in patients with severe kidney disease.



Liver

Liver function should be monitored, as this medication is contraindicated in patients with severe liver disease.
