About Femi D Tab
Ethinyl estradiol/desogestrel is a combined oral contraceptive pill used to prevent pregnancy. It works by suppressing ovulation and altering cervical mucus and uterine lining. Possible side effects include headache, breast tenderness, nausea, and mood changes. Serious side effects are rare but include blood clots. This medication is not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women, those with severe liver or kidney disease. Always consult your doctor before starting this or any medication.
Ingredients of Femi D Tab

    Ethinyl Estradiol

    A synthetic estrogen hormone.

    Desogestrel

    A synthetic progestin hormone.

Direction for Use of Femi D Tab

    Prevention of pregnancy.

Treatment of moderate acne vulgaris in women who desire contraception.

How Femi D Tab Works

Femi D Tab (Ethinyl Estradiol + Desogestrel) work primarily by suppressing ovulation (the release of an egg from the ovary). Ethinyl estradiol also thickens the cervical mucus, making it difficult for sperm to reach the egg, and it thins the uterine lining, making implantation less likely. Desogestrel further contributes to the contraceptive effect through its progestational actions.
