Epialfa 10mg Injection (Epirubicin) works by interfering with the growth and division of cancer cells. It does this by inhibiting the enzyme topoisomerase II, which is essential for DNA replication and repair.
Epirubicin should be stored in a refrigerator between 2°C and 8°C (36°F and 46°F). Protect it from light and freezing.
The dosage of epirubicin will vary depending on the type of cancer being treated, the patient's overall health, and other factors.
Epirubicin is typically administered intravenously (into a vein) by a healthcare professional.
It can also be given as a continuous intravenous infusion over 24-96 hours.
