Gatifloxacin is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections, including:

Prostatitis (infection of the prostate gland)
Engatt Eye Oint 5gm (Gatifloxacin) works by interfering with the bacterial enzyme DNA gyrase, which is essential for bacterial DNA replication. By inhibiting this enzyme, gatifloxacin prevents bacteria from multiplying and ultimately kills them.
Store gatifloxacin at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children.
The dosage and duration of treatment will vary depending on the type of infection you have and your individual needs.
Take gatifloxacin exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
Do not stop taking gatifloxacin even if you feel better, as this could lead to a recurrence of the infection.
It's usually taken once or twice a day, either with or without food.
