Deferasirox is used to treat iron overload in patients with:
Thalassemia major (a genetic blood disorder)
Sickle cell disease
Other conditions that cause iron overload

Desirox 250mg 30s Tab (Deferasirox) works by binding to iron in the body and helping to remove it through the urine.
Store deferasirox tablets and oral suspension at room temperature, away from heat and moisture.
Keep the medication in its original container.
Do not use the medication after the expiration date printed on the bottle.
Keep out of reach of children.
