Formoterol

Is a long-acting beta2-agonist (laba) medication.

Formoterol is used to prevent and treat asthma symptoms, such as wheezing, shortness of breath, and chest tightness.

It is also used to prevent exerciseinduced bronchospasm.

Formoterol may be used alone or in combination with other asthma medications.

Deriform 12mcg Respicap (Formoterol) works by relaxing the muscles in the airways, making it easier to breathe. It does this by stimulating beta2-adrenergic receptors in the lungs, which causes the muscles to relax and the airways to widen.

Store formoterol at room temperature, away from moisture and heat.

The dosage of formoterol will vary depending on your age, weight, and the severity of your condition.

It is typically taken twice daily, once in the morning and once in the evening.

Formoterol is usually inhaled using a device called an inhaler.

While Driving or operating Machinery

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Children

Formoterol is not typically used in children under the age of 4 years old.



Kidney

Formoterol is not known to cause problems with kidney function.
