Treatment of anemia associated with chronic kidney disease (CKD)

Treatment of anemia in patients with nonmyeloid malignancies receiving chemotherapy

Treatment of anemia in patients undergoing surgery with a high risk of blood loss

Cresp 100mcg /0.5ml Pfs Inj (Darbepoetin Alfa) stimulates erythropoiesis (red blood cell production) in the bone marrow by binding to erythropoietin receptors on erythroid progenitor cells. This leads to an increase in red blood cell mass, hemoglobin levels, and hematocrit.

Store in the refrigerator (2-8°C). Do not freeze. Protect from light. Discard any unused portion after the expiration date.

Dosage is determined by the physician based on individual patient needs and response. It is usually administered subcutaneously (under the skin).

The initial dose and subsequent dose adjustments should be guided by hemoglobin levels and other clinical factors.

Kidney
