Coxtra 40 Mg Tab (Valdecoxib) is a selective cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor. It reduces pain and inflammation by blocking the production of prostaglandins, which are involved in the inflammatory process. Unlike non-selective NSAIDs, it has less effect on COX-1, minimizing gastrointestinal side effects.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage will vary depending on the condition being treated and the patient's individual needs. Always follow your doctor's prescription.

Take with or without food, as directed by your physician.

Do not exceed the prescribed dosage.

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Valdecoxib should be avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless clearly necessary. Consult your doctor before taking it if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.



Children

The safety and efficacy of Valdecoxib in children have not been established.



Kidney

Caution is advised in patients with kidney impairment. Dosage adjustment may be necessary.



Liver
