Phenylpropanolamine

A decongestant that helps to relieve nasal congestion by shrinking swollen blood vessels in the nose.

Chlorpheniramine Maleate

An antihistamine that blocks the effects of histamine, a substance that the body releases during allergic reactions.

Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide

An antitussive (cough suppressant) that works by affecting the part of the brain that controls coughing.

Relief of symptoms associated with the common cold and allergies, such as:

Runny nose

Sneezing

Itchy, watery eyes

Coughing

This combination drug works by targeting different aspects of cold and allergy symptoms. Phenylpropanolamine reduces nasal congestion, chlorpheniramine relieves allergy symptoms, and dextromethorphan suppresses coughing.

Store at room temperature, away from heat and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

Always follow the dosage instructions provided by your doctor or pharmacist.

The usual adult dose is one tablet or capsule every 4-6 hours as needed.

Do not take more than the recommended dose.

This medication is typically taken by mouth with a glass of water.

Stomach upset

Difficulty urinating

Nervousness

Headache

Insomnia

Alcohol Consumption

Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication as it may increase the risk of drowsiness and dizziness.



While Driving or Operating Machinery

Be cautious while driving or operating machinery as this medication can cause drowsiness.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Talk to your doctor before taking this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless the potential benefits outweigh the risks.



Children

This medication is not recommended for children under the age of 6 years.



Kidney

This medication may be harmful to people with kidney problems. Talk to your doctor if you have kidney disease.



Liver

This medication may be harmful to people with liver problems. Talk to your doctor if you have liver disease.
