Dicyclomine

An anticholinergic medication that helps relax the muscles in the digestive tract, reducing spasms and cramping.

Dimethicone

A silicone-based antifoaming agent that helps to break down gas bubbles in the stomach and intestines, relieving bloating and gas.

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) with symptoms of abdominal cramping, bloating, and diarrhea.

Functional dyspepsia (indigestion) with symptoms of upper abdominal pain, bloating, and nausea.

Spasms in the digestive tract due to other conditions, such as gastritis or ulcers.

Dicyclomine blocks the action of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that stimulates muscle contractions in the digestive tract. This helps to relax the muscles and reduce spasms. Dimethicone works by reducing the surface tension of gas bubbles in the stomach and intestines, allowing them to be more easily expelled.

Store at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C (59°F and 86°F), away from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

The dosage of dicyclomine + dimethicone will vary depending on the individual's age, weight, and condition. Always follow your doctor's instructions.

This medication is typically taken orally, usually with food, to minimize stomach upset.

Take the medication exactly as prescribed, and do not stop taking it without consulting your doctor.

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol may increase the risk of side effects from dicyclomine + dimethicone. It's best to avoid alcohol while taking this medication.



While Driving or Operating Machinery

This medication can cause dizziness and blurred vision. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medication is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women unless the potential benefits outweigh the risks. Consult your doctor.



Children

This medication is not typically prescribed for children under the age of 12. Consult your doctor.



Kidney

This medication may be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Your doctor may adjust the dosage.



Liver

This medication may be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Your doctor may adjust the dosage.
