Cilamet Xl 20/50mg Tab (Cilnidipine + Metoprolol) work together to lower blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels and slowing the heart rate. Cilnidipine blocks calcium from entering the smooth muscle cells of blood vessels, causing relaxation and widening of the vessels. Metoprolol blocks the action of adrenaline and other hormones on the heart, leading to a slower heart rate and reduced force of contraction. This combined action lowers blood pressure and reduces the workload on the heart.

Store the medication in a cool, dry place, protected from light and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets. Do not use the medication if it has expired or if the packaging is damaged.

The dosage of Cilnidipine + Metoprolol will be determined by your doctor based on your individual condition and response to the medication.

It is typically taken once daily, with or without food.

Swallow the tablets whole with water, do not crush or chew them.

Do not stop taking the medication without consulting your doctor.
