Serratiopeptidase

A proteolytic enzyme that helps reduce inflammation and swelling by breaking down proteins.

Diclofenac inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, reducing prostaglandin synthesis, thus alleviating pain and inflammation. Paracetamol's mechanism is less fully understood but involves inhibition of COX enzymes in the central nervous system. Serratiopeptidase breaks down proteins involved in inflammation, reducing swelling and edema.
