Benzoyl Peroxide

Benzoyl peroxide is the active ingredient in many acne medications.It is an antimicrobial agent that kills the bacteria Propionibacterium acnes (P. acnes), a common cause of acne.

Treatment of mild to moderate acne vulgaris.

May be used alone or in combination with other acne medications.

Benxop Face Wash Gel 50gm (Benzoyl Peroxide) works by reducing the number of P. acnes bacteria on the skin. It also helps to reduce inflammation and prevent the formation of new acne lesions.

Do not use after the expiration date printed on the label.

Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes.

Wash hands thoroughly after applying.

Apply a thin layer to affected areas of skin once or twice daily, as directed by your doctor.

Start with a lower concentration of benzoyl peroxide and gradually increase the concentration if needed.

Do not use more than the recommended dose or apply more frequently than directed.

Skin irritation, redness, dryness, and peeling.

Burning or stinging sensation.

While Driving or Operating Machinery

No known effects on driving or operating machinery.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

It is not recommended to use benzoyl peroxide during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless directed by a doctor.



Children

Use only as directed by a doctor. May be safe for children over 12 years old.



Kidney

No known effects on kidney function.



Liver
