Benazepril 5mg Tablets (Benazepril) works by blocking the action of an enzyme called angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE). ACE is involved in the production of a substance that narrows blood vessels, raising blood pressure. By blocking ACE, benazepril allows blood vessels to relax and widen, lowering blood pressure.
Store at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light.
The dosage of benazepril will be determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and medical condition.
It is usually taken once a day, with or without food.
Follow your doctor's instructions carefully and do not change your dosage without consulting with them.

Alcohol can increase the risk of low blood pressure and dizziness. Limit alcohol intake while taking benazepril.
Benazepril can cause dizziness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.
Benazepril is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. It may harm the developing baby.
Benazepril is not usually recommended for children unless prescribed by a doctor.
Benazepril may affect kidney function. Your doctor will monitor your kidney function regularly.
