Treatment of metastatic castrationresistant prostate cancer (mCRPC).

Treatment of nonmetastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (nmCRPC) at high risk of progression.

Azel 40mg Cap (Enzalutamide) is a nonsteroidal antiandrogen that blocks the activity of androgens, such as testosterone, in prostate cancer cells. It inhibits the binding of androgens to the androgen receptor (AR), preventing the activation of AR-mediated gene transcription and thus inhibiting the growth of prostate cancer cells. This action is crucial since prostate cancer growth depends on androgen signaling.

Store at 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F). Protect from moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

The recommended dose is 160 mg once daily by mouth.

Take with food to improve tolerability.

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Enzalutamide is contraindicated in pregnant and breastfeeding women. Effective contraception is essential.



Children

Enzalutamide is not indicated for use in children.



Kidney

Renal impairment may require dosage adjustments. Close monitoring is essential.



Liver

Hepatic impairment may require dosage adjustments. Close monitoring of liver function is essential.
