Arvast 30mg Tab (Rosuvastatin) is a selective, competitive inhibitor of HMG-CoA reductase, a key enzyme in cholesterol synthesis. By inhibiting this enzyme, rosuvastatin lowers the production of cholesterol in the liver, leading to a reduction in LDL ('bad') cholesterol levels and an increase in HDL ('good') cholesterol levels.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage varies depending on individual needs and response to treatment. Always follow your doctor's prescribed dosage.

It's typically taken orally, once daily, with or without food.

Dosage adjustments may be necessary for patients with kidney or liver impairment.

Elevation in liver enzymes (rare but potentially serious)

Alcohol Consumption

Moderate alcohol consumption should be discussed with your doctor. Excessive alcohol use can increase the risk of liver damage.



While Driving or operating Machinery

Rosuvastatin generally does not impair alertness, but drowsiness or dizziness has been reported. Caution is advised until you know how the medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Rosuvastatin is contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding women. Alternative treatment should be considered.



Children

The safety and efficacy in children have not been fully established. Use in children should be considered only in specific circumstances and under close medical supervision.



Kidney

Dosage adjustment may be necessary for patients with impaired kidney function.



Liver

Dosage adjustment may be necessary for patients with impaired liver function. Liver function tests may be monitored.
