An antiparasitic drug effective against filarial worms.

Cetirizine

An antihistamine that relieves allergic symptoms.

Treatment of lymphatic filariasis (elephantiasis) caused by Wuchereria bancrofti and Brugia malayi.

Alleviation of allergic symptoms associated with filariasis, such as itching, rash, and swelling.

Diethylcarbamazine kills filarial worms by interfering with their metabolism and neuromuscular function. Cetirizine blocks histamine receptors, reducing allergic reactions.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiration date.

Dosage should be determined by a physician based on the patient's age, weight, and condition.

Usually taken orally with or without food.
